Recycled Skateboard Dipped Keychain

These recycled keychains are made out of broken skateboards from our skateboard shop. A skateboard that has lived its useful life usually gets thrown in the trash, we believe there is life after breakage. The natural 7 ply maple decks are first cut into 3 1/2 inch strips. Each piece is hand sanded, then Montana paint is applied to get the dipped effect. A clear, protective lacquer is applied after a final light sanding. You can choose from 1/3 dip or 2/3 dip.
