about us

It all began with the idea of making rubber bands out of bicycle inner tubes.  We have a retail bicycle and skateboard shop, and we were throwing away a lot of inner tubes and broken skateboards.  First we started cutting up old inner tubes into strips and using them as rubber bands.  We started giving them to our friends and other businesses.  

Our recycling efforts have really grown into a second business.  From one skateboard we can make 2 drink coasters, 4 mini bottle openers, 2 wine caddies, and about a dozen bottle openers and keychains.  We are constantly experimenting with new ways, methods and designs.

All of our products are made by hand in the back of our retail shop in historic downtown Lynchburg Va.
